Job Description
Scope of Position. The Business Analyst oversees the submission, planning, scheduling, building, testing and deployment of assigned accounts and projects on an enterprise-wide level. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of projects throughout the organization through effective planning, technical leadership, and strategic project coordination. The Business Analyst is responsible for contributing to the overall direction and supporting the implementation and improvement of the Global PMO. Essential Job Duties. Must have worked and been successful in a Global organization
Collaborate with the business and IT to capture existing request updates, additional and / or new requests for demand. Upon efficiency gains in the current role, recommend and influence any technical or functional sequencing of work and delivery balancing against all existing demand and available resources
Ensure timely and effective delivery of the solution into production
Chair and influence functional and technical reviews to sharpen estimates and scheduled. (Business Analyst Skills). Use technical and functional know how and experience to provide guidance for project efficiencies during execution
Accountable for project timelines and communication
Manage all aspects of the project including schedule, people resources, budget, and scope
Capable of managing waterfall projects as well as software development projects, and how they may intersect. (executing a scrum master role.). Use your business analyst skills to Interact with the business and our clients at the functional level as required
Ensure effective hand off to operations for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting
Document technical requirements, develop and oversee project plans and implement change control procedures
Driving to requirement capture of analysis of clients new project from product management stand points;. Participate in product advisory role per client related requirements with operations team/customers as required, partnering with the IT technical, assigned by Ashish;. Analyze technical requirement from Clients in-take directly partnering with CS/AM/sales;. Track and maintain project report cards for development by projects;. Track and Maintain Developer Time-sheets for Finance on a Monthly basis;. Dotted-line reporting to VP, Project Management for non-client related projects
Provide leadership for projects, group and company
Education & Qualification Requirements. UG : B.Tech/B.E. Computers / IT, M.Tech, MCA OR Equivalent. Experience: 2 to 4 years, Office working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM(may vary as per project needs). Measurements of Success. Excellent Knowledge of MVC architecture and C# Language. Candidate must have worked on .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 with C#
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL. Candidate should be able to troubleshoot single handedly
Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming
Excellent logical and analytical skills
Working in any programming language with exposure to Web services /REST API/Third Party Integration
Candidate must know how to work with HTML, XML, JavaScript/Jquery
Self-driven and ability to work independently
Ability to work as a part of a global team and coordinate with team located in US, HK, MY
Positive attitude and must have learning curve
Should be self-motivated and responsible team player
Committed and result oriented
Excellent communication skills
