Business Analyst- Risk Datamart

T Interact with business stakeholders to gather data, reporting and analytic requirements for financial data sets. Having experience working on any Risk area in Banking domain is must.

Perform data analysis, data lineage, and profiling of data from source system to data repositories and reports. Responsible for data mapping to any to-be data structures.

Create specifications for Reporting/Analytic requirements and work with business users to elicit hidden requirements and clarify vague requirements, as well as ensure sign offs on requirements.

Regular project updates / presentation to senior management on the status of the projects, challenges, work arounds etc.

Interact with technical teams and guide IT/development resources to help translate requirements into solutions. Responsible for providing functional and technical guidance to the IT / development team to configure in Datalake in Cloud setup.

Coordinate user acceptance testing of reports and data driven solutions by working with the business users.

Assist the Program Managers with tracking work program deliverables using the appropriate SDLC methodologies.

Manage daily technical challenges and communicates to management any risks or issues.

Develop, manage, and maintain processes, procedures, and documentation for handover to application support.

Skills / Experience Required

Total 5-10 years of experience with minimum 4-5 yrs. of relevant experience and master's degree

Strong analytical skills coupled with capabilities to understand and interpret data

Working experience on implementing Enterprise Datamart Management solutions like Azure Datalake (Cloud), Informatica, etc.

Experienced IT professional working on large data and reporting applications as well a strong understanding of Operational data stores, Data Warehouses and/or Data Marts

Understanding of Risk area including Retail & Wholesale CPRA (Credit Portfolio Risk Analytics), Ratings, Retail / SME portfolio monitoring, etc.

Broad experience of middle and back office functions of financial organizations

Excellent skills in analysing data, gathering requirements and working with clients and technical teams to translate requirements into solutions.

Proficient in the use of PL/SQL and ability to read data models, infer data flows and write complex queries

Hands on experience with reporting tools (like Power BI, Power Apps, Informatica) and ability to perform ad hoc analysis

Strong project management skills with a process orientation and ability to leverage Agile concepts

Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals
