iRely is looking for a Business Analyst with experience in the Petroleum/ Lubricant industry to join their Product Development Team and work on the Inventory Management module of our software. The applicant mat be from either Makati City, Philippines or Bengaluru, India. The role is hybrid in both loacations.
This role requires expertise and understanding of the following:
- Geographic and product specific changes in the marketplace
- How daily posted pricing across cardlock and bulk plant business lines
- How the interactions between sales, supply, and ops team operate to ensure accurate, timely, optimized quoting
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of technical systems, software applications, and databases to identify integration opportunities and ensure compatibility with business requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage new tools and techniques for improved business processes.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration and understanding of project goals and deliverables.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and test plans.
- Analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
- Work closely with development teams to provide guidance and clarification on business requirements, ensuring that the delivered solutions meet the desired outcomes.
- Perform system testing, validate the functionality of developed solutions, and assist in user acceptance testing to ensure successful implementation and user satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and successful project outcomes.
