The Role Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be part of the BA Chapter under CASE (Change, Control Adoption and Onboarding and Stakeholder Engagement) - cluster within the ICS (Information Cyber Security) Portfolio Enablement hive, a part of the Transformation, Technology and Operations (TTO).
- The Business Analyst will play a key role in developing and maintaining a common understanding of projects goals, objectives and scope.
- The Business Analyst will work as part of the transformation team to proactively engage stakeholders and elicit business requirements utilizing various techniques and methods to effectively document both the target state of the processes, people, technology and changes required to implement respective solutions addressing these requirements in a jointly agreed manner.
- Business Analyst will support project teams throughout entire project lifecycle (all stages) from inception through design, build to verification, and will play a key role when dealing with various governance processes to have the solution approved and successfully deployed.
- The role reports to the Business Analyst Chapter Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Be aware and understand Bank's and ICS's strategy, model appropriate to the role along with technology/ cyber risks driving the project portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal stakeholders from various units across the Bank.
- Be proactive and communicative in all areas related to understanding, documenting and
- executing the change with little supervision
- Work through requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable
- Elicit requirements using variety of techniques like interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, cost analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or requirements workshops
- Delivering projects in alignment with internal policies, standards and frameworks by delivering, gathering and maintaining all relevant documentation
- Creating wire frames, workflows, process maps, use case diagrams, flowcharts, and other business analysis artifacts
- Providing support for testing teams on test documentation creation, and testing activities necessary to assess the quality and completion of system implementations
- Review and/or prepare system documentation and specifications in accordance with Bank's methodology
- Contribute to project lifecycle by applying creativity in problem solving, idea generation, conclusions based on large volumes of information and data
- Facilitate requirements prioritization based on business value
- Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project life cycle
PUBLIC
- Assist in enforcement of project deadlines, schedules, and methodologies
- Prepare end-user training and process documentation for stakeholders
- Cooperate with project team members on project status reporting

- Have a clear understanding of Cyber Security (in areas of Cyber Defence, Malware Protection, Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management) concepts and overall information flow.
- Candidate should present understanding of industry best practices in respective field and awareness of globally recognized standards & frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate, compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations across diverse cultures
- Provide analytical and critical thinking to support consistency of requirements and development of best-fit solutions while solving problems of various complexity
- Excellent presentation skills with an excellent standard of English
- Must be articulate and composed when delivering difficult messages to stakeholders
Our Ideal Candidate has
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking, Project Management, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, or similar
- 5 years or more experience working as a Business Analyst in large, worldwide organizations
- Working experience with creating different types of business analysis and project documentation for variety of stakeholders (senior management, operation departments, vendors, end users)
- Working experience on dealing with technical Subject Matter Experts being able to run discussions, present solutions and ask questions
- Working experience with processes (analysis, design & optimization - BPMN)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Very strong stakeholder management skills
- Open-minded, proactive approach to improve surrounding reality and feeling comfortable, adapting to change in fast-paced work environments
- Prior experience in Cyber Security is a strong plus
- Good presentation and communication skills
- CCBA, CBAP certification or equivalent are welcome, though not mandatory.
