Overview
The Business Analyst Intern plays a crucial role in assisting the business analysis and strategic planning process within the organization. They are responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and assisting in the formulation of business strategies to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights beneficial to the business.
- Participate in the development and presentation of business analysis reports and recommendations.
- Assist in creating process flow diagrams and wireframes to visualize business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address business challenges.
- Support the development of business cases for proposed projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to testing and quality assurance of new systems or processes.
- Assist in the evaluation of technology solutions and their impact on business operations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
- Participate in meetings and workshops to gather requirements and drive initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes and methodologies.
- Assist in documenting and maintaining business analysis standards and best practices.
- Support the business analysis team in ad-hoc tasks and project activities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree program in Business Analysis.
- Demonstrated interest in business analysis, data analytics, or strategic planning through coursework or projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and technologies.
- Previous internship experience in business analysis, consulting, or related field is advantageous.
