Job Title: Business Analyst Crew Transport Management (Airline IT Project)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and lead the development of a Crew Transport Management solution for our airline client. This role is critical in ensuring the effective coordination and optimization of crew transport operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of airline operations, crew management, and transportation logistics, paired with strong IT and project management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders (Operations, IT, Crew Scheduling, and Transport teams) to gather and document detailed business requirements for the crew transport management system.
- Process Analysis: Analyze and map existing processes related to crew transportation, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to define and design IT solutions that streamline crew transport scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment of expectations and delivering solutions that meet operational needs.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and performance metrics for crew transportation. Provide regular reporting to support data-driven decisions.
- Testing & Validation: Assist in the development of test cases and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
- Change Management: Support the roll-out of new transport management systems, including training, documentation, and user adoption strategies.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with the project management team to ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met according to the project plan.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Airline Industry Experience: Strong understanding of airline operations, specifically crew scheduling, transport logistics, and regulatory compliance.
- Business Analysis: Proven ability to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and processes.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with airline transport management systems, IT integration, and system development life cycle (SDLC).
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with diverse teams and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify root causes of issues and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
- Project Management: Basic knowledge of project management methodologies, with experience in delivering IT solutions on time and within scope.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the airline or transport industry.
- Experience with crew management, transport logistics, or related airline operations systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in process mapping and business analysis tools (e.g., MS Visio, JIRA).
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Certification in Business Analysis is preferred but not required.
