The Expertise we are Looking For
- 3 - 5 (or 6 9) years of relevant experience in software development life cycle or in Financial Domain.
- Ability to build business product narratives, present it to non-technical and technical partners.
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative / technical field such as Engineering, Economics, Statistics and / or MBA, consulting, or agency experience.
- 5+ Years of experience as a Business Analyst: a) Gathering requirements from Business users, Data Analysts, Data Scientists. b) Documenting business definitions of Database tables at a table level and column level. c) Clear Understanding of business use cases and experience performing Data Validations.
- Proficiency with database querying tools (SQL), Data Modelling Techniques.
- Knowledge of Dimensional Data Modeling will be a plus.
- Experience with Snowflake will be a plus.
- Experience with data visualization applications (Tableau, Qlik, Domo, etc.), Programming (Python) will be a plus.
- Prior knowledge of Alation - data catalog tool or any other metadata management tool will be an advantage.
- Ability to bring in a data-driven approach to strategic business decision making.
- Ability to generate meaningful insights through data analytics and research and to present complex data, financial analyses, statistics, and research findings in a simple, clear and actionable way.
