Overview
The Built Engineer (DevOps) focusing on Ansible, Microsoft Azure, and PowerShell plays a crucial role in our organization to maintain and enhance the infrastructure and deployment processes to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability. They will create and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and PowerShell to streamline infrastructure management and deployment processes.
- Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using relevant tools and technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Ensure the security and compliance of infrastructure and deployments through best practices.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to team members on automation best practices.
- Participate in code and configuration management to maintain version control and traceability.
- Contribute to evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to enhance automation capabilities.
- Document automation processes, configurations, and procedures
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in infrastructure automation and deployment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in building and maintaining automation scripts using Ansible and PowerShell
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices
- Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for various types of applications
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Linux Administration Experienced in installing Apache tomcat servers, User access (Sudo, AD/LDAP, SSH, SSO), Package management, bash env.
- Jenkins - Descriptive Pipelines, Scripted pipelines, Job Log analysis, triage Continuous Delivery / Continuous tool (Mandatory)
- Ansible -- Playbooks using Roles (Mandatory)
- Scripting Linux / Power Shell / Python (Mandatory)
- SPC hands-on experience in using SPC procedures, maintaining parameters, executing, debug issues.
- Git Integration with Jenkin
- DevOps CD understanding
- JAVA applications stack
