You'll work as a Security Officer, reporting into the Property Manager.
In this varied role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: The Security Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Lanco Hills security and fire safety programs and systems.
- This individual is also the front-line supervisor to ensure that all lobby security/patrolling, Main Gate personnel.
- Ensuring staff understand the post and site instructions and are sufficiently competent in performing their duties, monitor the performance, replace the staff who fail to perform their duty as required.
- Ensure proper training of guarding staff as per Training Program and submit a report upon completion.
- Ensure security staff are properly briefed /debriefed before and after deployment, and ensure proper shift change.
- Carry out checks on staff discipline and grooming to include attendance, uniforms etc.
- Security Planning-Risk Assessment & Effective Guarding Strategies
- Supervises Security Staff, assigns/monitors work assignments and provides training in life safety, first aid, etc
- Controls access to premises and monitor activities of visitors
- Manages security scheduling and approval of contract invoices
- Obtains copies of each security personnel of the vendor, and periodically audit contractor for ongoing compliance
- Maintains contract employee scheduling and training records
- Supervises Main Gate and Visitor Management..
- Establishes inspection tours of property, focusing on stairwells, elevators, and all areas of ingress/egress
- Maintains and updates Security Policies and Procedures manual
- Assist the Property Manager in emergency situations (i.e. fire, evacuations human crisis, etc.)
- Ensure any occurrence/ incidents are reported to the Duty Manager on real time basis and also keep a track on the same.
- Ensure that all the guidelines and standing instructions on any process are adhered to.
- Ensure timely submission of Daily Reports to Duty manager Facility Manager.
- Ensure the security roster and attendance is maintained properly at all times.
- Provide security reports and update as required by Property Manager.
- Monitor access control procedures and ensure guards are following the process.
- Ensure material movements IN&OUT is carried out as per policy.
- Ensure all Registers and Documents maintained with the security are maintained and up to date at all times.
- Always maintain emergency contact list up to date and display it at the control room.
- Ensure checks are carried out on all Fire Hydrants, Fire Extinguishers, First aid boxes and the same are documented.
- Timely submission of invoice along with supportive documents to the facilities

Education And Experience
Any Bachelor's degree. you'll need between Two and Four years experience in Facility (OR) Property Management. A working knowledge of any major vertical industry will also be very helpful.
An eye for detail
You'll have an eye for detail and an ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information and translate this into strategic deliverables.
Great Organisational Skills
You'll have great time management and organisational skills and be good at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment and adapting to your team's or client's changing requirements.
