We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Services Engineer with expertise in commissioning CCTV, fire alarm systems, access control, and boom barriers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all security and access control systems within our facilities.

Responsibilities:

Commissioning, installation, and maintenance of CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage throughout the facility.

Commissioning and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Installation, configuration, and maintenance of access control systems to regulate entry and exit points within the premises.

Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boom barriers to control vehicular access and ensure site security.

Conducting routine inspections and tests on security and access control systems to identify and address any issues or malfunctions promptly.

Collaborating with other maintenance and security staff to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.

Providing technical support and training to facility staff on the proper use and maintenance of security systems.

Keeping abreast of industry developments and best practices in security system technologies and recommending upgrades or improvements as needed.

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service contracts.

Mandatory Skillset :

• Proven experience in commissioning and maintaining CCTV, fire alarm, access control, and boom barrier systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of security system hardware, software, and networking protocols
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards, such as NFPA, NEC, and ASIS International.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Security Project Manager, Certified Fire Protection Specialist) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to different sites as needed.
