Responsibilities
Lead and manage the mechanical team responsible for the operation and maintenance of BTG systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and efficiency of BTG mechanical systems.
- Oversee the procurement of mechanical components and equipment, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues affecting BTG systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of scheduled maintenance and shutdown activities for BTG systems.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to mechanical performance, maintenance activities, and budgetary requirements.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices, integrating innovative solutions into BTG mechanical operations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Experience
20-25 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry, with a focus on BTG Mechanical systems.
