Key Responsibilities

Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality

web applications using Java and Brightspot CMS technologies. This includes

building scalable content management applications tailored to specific

business needs.

Content Modeling: Model content types using Java classes, ensuring flexibility

in the data model without being restricted by database schema constraints.

This involves collaborating with editors to define content models based on

editorial requirements.

Integration: Integrate Brightspot CMS with various third-party platforms and

services (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) to enhance functionality and

streamline content delivery across multiple channels.

Customization: Customize the Brightspot user interface using HTML, CSS,

and JavaScript to improve user experience and align with organizational

branding.

Performance Optimization: Conduct performance testing, code refactoring,

and debugging to ensure optimal application performance. This includes

maintaining databases and implementing security measures.

Support and Documentation: Provide ongoing support for Brightspot CMS

applications, including troubleshooting issues and creating documentation for

users and developers.

Required Skills

Technical Expertise: Proficient in Java programming with experience in web

development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON APIs.

CMS Knowledge: Strong understanding of content management systems,

particularly Brightspot CMS. Familiarity with other CMS platforms like Adobe

Experience Manager is a plus.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems and devise effective

solutions quickly.

Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team

environment and interact with stakeholders across different departments.
