Job Description

As the Brand Manager for HDFC SKY, you will be responsible for spearheading all activities related to brand development, strategy formulation, and performance monitoring for HDFC Securities new DIY app targeting millennials and elder Gen Zs. HDFC SKY aims to become the leading discount broker in the Indian market, offering innovative solutions and personalized experiences to empower young investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies aligned with HDFC SKY's objective of becoming the top discount broker in India, catering to the needs and preferences of millennials and elder Gen Zs.
  2. Market Positioning: Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify key trends and opportunities for positioning HDFC SKY as a disruptive force in the discount brokerage space, leveraging its unique features and value proposition.
  3. Target Audience Engagement: Create targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives to engage with the millennial and elder Gen Z audience, leveraging digital channels and social media platforms to drive brand awareness and user acquisition.
  4. Brand Identity: Define and refine HDFC SKY's brand identity, including messaging, visual assets, and tone of voice, to ensure consistency and relevance across all touchpoints and communications.
  5. Partnership Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop strategic alliances and partnerships that enhance HDFC SKY's brand visibility and reach among the target demographic.
  6. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key brand and business metrics, including user acquisition, engagement, retention, and market share, using insights to refine strategies and optimize performance.
  7. Customer Experience Enhancement: Continuously assess and improve the user experience of HDFC SKY's app and services, identifying pain points and implementing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all brand-related activities and communications adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards, safeguarding the reputation and integrity of HDFC SKY and HDFC Securities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA from premier institutes
  • Proven experience (5/6) in brand management, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Deep understanding of the millennial and elder Gen Z market segments, with a keen awareness of their attitudes, behaviors, and preferences regarding investing and personal finance.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret market insights and performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Creative thinking and innovative mindset, with a passion for developing disruptive brand strategies and campaigns that resonate with young audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented approach with a track record of driving measurable impact through brand-building initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
