Job Description

As the head of Brand Growth at Travelwings, you will be at the helm of our brand strategy, responsible for shaping and elevating the brand's identity, reputation, and market presence within the travel industry. You will lead a team of brand managers and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure that our brand resonates deeply with our target audience. Your strategic vision, leadership acumen, and creativity will be critical in driving brand equity, customer loyalty, and market differentiation in a highly competitive online travel landscape.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Brand Leadership: Define and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's vision and business goals. Lead the brand's positioning in the market, ensuring it stands out as a leader in the travel industry.
  • Market Differentiation: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Develop strategies to differentiate Travelwings from competitors, positioning it as a preferred choice for customers.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints. Uphold brand integrity and coherence in all communications and marketing initiatives.
  • Integrated Campaigns: Oversee the development and execution of large-scale, integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. Work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  • Social Media Management: Lead the strategy and execution for brand building across social media channels. Ensure that our brand presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter is strong, consistent, and engaging, effectively communicating our brand story and values.
  • User Journey & UI/UX Improvements: Collaborate with the product and design teams to enhance the user experience on our digital platforms. Drive initiatives that improve the customer journey through effective UI/UX strategies, ensuring a seamless and positive interaction with the brand.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing brand management team. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that amplify the brand's reach and impact. Negotiate and manage relationships with key partners to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
  • Brand Innovation: Champion innovative approaches to brand management, incorporating the latest trends in digital marketing, customer experience, and technology. Stay ahead of industry shifts to ensure the brand remains relevant and forward-thinking.
  • Analytics and Insights: Utilize advanced analytics to measure brand performance and campaign effectiveness. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Global Brand Stewardship: Ensure that the brand's identity and messaging are effectively adapted and implemented across all regions, maintaining a strong global presence while respecting local nuances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in brand management, with a significant portion in leadership roles, ideally within the travel, e-commerce, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading brand strategy and execution on a global scale.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media strategy, and consumer behavior.
  • Expertise in UI/UX design principles and a proven ability to influence user experience improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative edge, capable of turning insights into impactful brand initiatives.
  • Experience in managing and developing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Proficiency in brand management tools, marketing analytics platforms, and creative software.
