Job Summary
Varthana is looking for a Branch Manager who will be driving all business development activities and will be
responsible for revenue generation, cost management, delinquency control, and running the branch as a profit
center. The candidate will be recruiting and driving a motivated sales team so as to effectively service the catchment
area and ensure that loans are processed within the defined turnaround time. The Branch Manager will also be
responsible for servicing all the customer requirements and building a long-lasting relationship with them.
Key Role Deliverables
- Team Leadership and Team Development.
- Sales Management: Achieving disbursement targets in numbers, volumes & productivity.
- Marketing Management: Working towards building a brand image of the company.
- Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with customers.
- Profitability Management: Through managing costs and building a superior quality portfolio.
- Delinquency Management: Ensuring zero delinquencies by timely and effective collections.
- Regular road travel will be very much apart of the routine,for business development.
Preferred Profile
- Minimum Education Qualification: Graduation from a reputed institution.
- 5-7 years of experience in SME Sales / Financial Services / Education / MFI / Mortgages.
- Team player and ability to appreciate other peoples perspectives.
- Influential communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willing to travel within the city and holding a valid driving license.
