The Branch Manager at Religare Broking is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the branch, driving sales, and ensuring client satisfaction in alignment with the company's business goals. This role involves overseeing the sales of financial products, managing client relationships, leading a team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth functioning and operational efficiency.
Sales and Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales of financial products such as equity, derivatives, mutual funds, insurance, and other investment options.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the branch team, ensuring they meet their individual sales and service targets.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the branch complies with all relevant regulations, including SEBI guidelines, KYC norms, and anti-money laundering policies.
Revenue Generation: Achieve branch revenue targets through effective sales and client acquisition strategies.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that the branch provides exceptional customer service, resolving client issues and complaints efficiently.
Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with client portfolios, market fluctuations, and operational processes.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the branch's budget and control operational costs to optimize profitability.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance and financial reports to senior management.
Marketing and Promotions: Coordinate with the marketing team to run promotional campaigns, seminars, and events to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of financial products like equities, derivatives, mutual funds, insurance, and other investment options.
Experience in sales and business development in the financial services industry.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, KYC compliance, and risk management practices.
Proven ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship management.
Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with broking software.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a broking firm or financial services industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Certifications such as NISM or AMFI are preferred.
