The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative engineering solutions to solve complex problems.
- Create specifications and requirements to meet functional objectives.
- Work with engineering tools to develop prototype and/or production intent solutions.
- Design and develop brake systems for automotive applications, including brakes, calipers, master cylinders, rotors, and related components.
- Evaluate technologies and product designs with compliance to scientific principles, engineering principles, company standards and customer requirements.
- Calculate motion ratio, pressure ratio, and forces as they relate to mechanical linkages and hydraulic systems.
- Create, input and track system and component level requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
- CAD experience
- Proficient in UG NX
- Strong organizational and communication skills
