As a Bookkeeper (Entry-level) , you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within our cloud-based technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective financial management practices, focusing on mobile and web-based applications.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely collection of receivables. Manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Assist with audits as needed.
- Support: Provide support during month-end and year-end closing processes and assist with financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- Educational attainment in accounting or a related field (e.g., bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline).
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in Intuit QuickBooks is required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional accounting software is a plus.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and reporting.
