We operate 3 business segments:

  • Corporate Secretary: Automating the company incorporation, secretarial, filing, Nominee Director, mailroom and immigration processes via custom online robots and SleekSign. We are the market leaders in Singapore with :5% market share of all new business incorporations
  • Accounting & Bookkeeping: Redefining what it means to do Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax and Payroll thanks to our proprietary SleekBooks ledger, generative AI tools and exceptional customer service
  • Business banking: Overcoming a key challenge for Entrepreneurs by offering digital banking services to new businesses

Sleek launched in 2017 and now has around 15,000 customers across our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the UK. We have around 450 staff, but we think and act more like a startup than a large corporation.

What does it mean to be an Bookkeeper in Sleek

You will be reporting directly to the Team Leader

The responsibilities of the Bookkeeper is to record day-to-day financial transactions and complete posting processes, verify if transactions are recorded correctly in the ledger, perform partial check of posting processes, and perform bank reconciliation, as well as enter financial data, and maintain accounting records.

Other responsibilities:

  • In charge of maintaining full sets of books for a portfolio of clients including bank reconciliations, fixed assets, register, raising journals and preparing financial reports in Xero accounting system activity statements, and payroll support for clients
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
  • Creation of Xero Files
  • Other ad-hoc accounting related duties as requested by the Management

Requirements


  • Degree in Accountancy- MUST!
  • Minimum 3 years and at least 1-2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH GLOBAL CLIENTS- This is a must requirement
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Experience with XERO- must. Preferably a Certified User.
  • Experience with software like Dext and Hubdoc- PLUS
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive and detail-oriented
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail
