Job Description:We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper proficient in QuickBooks software to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial transactions, records, and statements of our business. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
QuickBooks Proficiency:- Utilize QuickBooks software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
- Generate and manage invoices, process payments, and track expenses using QuickBooks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards within QuickBooks.
Tax Compliance:- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and liaise with external auditors during tax season.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Administrative Support:- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial plans.
- Provide administrative support for financial operations, including filing and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and provide financial insights.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software is essential.
- Familiarity with US taxes and US business will be plus point
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
