Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities of a Body Shop Advisor

Location: Reay Road(Harbour Line)

Industry/ Company: Automobile Dealer
  • Customer Interaction and Service
Customer Consultation:
  • Greet customers and assess their needs regarding vehicle body repairs.
Provide expert advice on required repairs and services.
Estimate Preparation: Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates.
  • Explain the estimate details to customers, including labor, parts, and repair timelines.
Customer Communication:
  • Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle repairs.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Coordination and Workflow Management
  • Work Order Management:
Create and manage work orders for body shop technicians.
  • Ensure that work orders are completed accurately and on time.
Parts Coordination:
  • Order and manage parts inventory required for repairs.
Ensure timely availability of parts to avoid repair delays.
Quality Control: Conduct post-repair inspections to ensure quality and completeness of work.
  • Address any issues identified during inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Administrative Duties
  • Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of repair estimates, work orders, and customer interactions.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Insurance Coordination:
  • Liaise with insurance companies to manage claims and approvals.
Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are submitted for insurance claims.

Financial Responsibilities
Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices for completed repairs.
  • Ensure accurate billing for parts and labor.
Payment Processing:
  • Process customer payments and manage payment records.
Handle any billing discrepancies or issues.

Team Collaboration and Development
  • Team Coordination:
Work closely with body shop technicians, parts department, and other dealership staff.
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality repairs.
Training and Development:
  • Assist in training new body shop staff.
Stay updated on industry trends, new repair techniques, and technologies.

Customer Satisfaction and Retention
Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve service quality.
  • Implement changes based on feedback to enhance customer satisfaction.
Relationship Building:
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Promote dealership services and loyalty programs.

Compliance and Safety
  • Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all repairs and services comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in the body shop.
Safety Protocols:
  • Implement and adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Conduct regular safety training and drills for body shop staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15,
  • 00 - 20,000.00 per month
