nJob Summary:
nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team in Bangalore (BLR). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in network infrastructure, Linux, and virtualization. This role involves managing and optimizing our network operations, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across all systems.

nResponsibilities
nNetwork Infrastructure Management:
nConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
nMaintain and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and security.
n
nSystem Administration:
nManage and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
nImplement and support virtualization solutions, with experience in Ovirt being a plus.
n
nOpen-Source Tools & Scripting:
nUtilize open-source tools for various network management and monitoring tasks.
nDevelop and maintain light scripts for automation and task optimization.
n
nNetwork Monitoring:

• nMonitor network performance using tools like Zabbix; experience with Zabbix is a plus.

nQualifications:

• nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• nProven experience in network engineering (12+ years) with a strong understanding of network protocols and infrastructure.
• nProficiency in Linux system administration and virtualization technologies.
• nExperience with virtualization (Ovirt preferred).
• nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

nPreferred Skills:

• nNetwork switch and router configuration
• nLinux CLI
• nExperience with Ovirt virtualization platform.
• nHands-on experience with open-source network tools and light scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
