Role: Bloomreach Marketing- Developer
Location: Bangalore /Hyd / Pune
AEO Unified Messaging Platform Team is looking for a talented Java Microservices Engineer with at least 2 years of BloomReach SME (Subject Matter Expert) experience to join our team. In this critical role, you'll play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying robust microservices using Java that extend BloomReach's functionalities and integrations for our clients. You'll also collaborate closely with marketing teams to translate their social commerce strategies into technical realities within the BloomReach ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Microservices Architecture: Design, develop, and deploy scalable
- and maintainable Java microservices to enhance BloomReach's capabilities.
- BloomReach Expertise (2+ Years): Possess a comprehensive understanding
- of BloomReach's functionalities, APIs, architecture, and best practices.
Responsibilities (Documentation, monitoring, maintaining and dev new components)
- Technical
- imports and exports of CSV (this will migrate to BigQuery)
- JINJA Snippets related to each Scenario
- c. HTML Templates
- d. Data Quality Analysis within BR
- e. Setting up Data Quality exports in collaboration with Data Engineering.
Operational
- Monitor the health of customer communication pipelines from a Bloomreach perspective.
- b. Manage the consistency of BR implementations across multiple BR Projects
- c. Manage the consistency of BR implementations across multiple environments
- d. Troubleshooting issues that affect the BR platform
- e. Monitoring Data Quality within BR

- a. SQL and Data Management
- b. JINJA or some similar template programming language
- c. Javascript and HTML
- d. Report creation in BR
- 3.Collaborate with
- a. UMP Infrastructure Team and Solutions Architect
- b. Marketing
- c. Data Engineering
- Technical Problem-Solving: Analyze complex marketing challenges
- and develop creative microservice solutions using Java and BloomReach.
- API Integrations: Integrate BloomReach with other marketing
- platforms and systems using Java and relevant APIs.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with marketing and product
- teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Testing and Debugging: Implement unit tests, conduct thorough
- testing of developed microservices, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Experienced Java developer with a strong focus on microservices architecture principles
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience building and deploying applications on cloud platforms (GCP a plus)
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
