Job Title: Bloomberg Lab Faculty
Location: GM University, Davangere.

The Bloomberg Lab Faculty will play a key role in integrating Bloomberg technology into the curriculum and enhancing students financial literacy and analytical skills. This position involves teaching, training, and supporting students in the use of Bloomberg terminals for research and analysis in finance and related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Curriculum Development:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures and hands-on workshops that utilize Bloomberg terminals.
- Integrate Bloomberg tools into existing coursework and create new courses focused on financial analysis, investment strategies, and market research.
- Student Support:
- Provide one-on-one and group training sessions for students to improve their proficiency in using Bloomberg.
- Assist students in utilizing Bloomberg data for projects, research papers, and presentations.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with faculty across departments to incorporate Bloomberg resources into interdisciplinary projects and curricula.
- Engage with industry professionals to keep course content current and relevant.
- Lab Management:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the Bloomberg Lab, ensuring resources are up to date and accessible to students.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and events to promote the use of Bloomberg in academic research and professional development.
- Research & Professional Development:
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in finance and data analysis.
- Contribute to academic research and publications that leverage Bloomberg data.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Demonstrated experience using Bloomberg terminals and financial data analysis.
- Previous teaching or training experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and industry partners.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and market research.
