Biotech Business Development Executive

Job Requirement

• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.

Understanding and promoting company commercial programs.

• Work with interfacing functions to ensure timely and accurate processing and delivery of orders

Run reports, analyze data, develop presentations, support and/or lead customer conference calls, and in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.

Preparing and sales contracts for orders.

• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.

Maintaining client records.

• Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.

• Qualifications and Skills

• MBA, B.Tech. (Biotech) or Masters Degree in Science (preferably in Biotechnology or chemistry)

Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.

• A commitment to excellent customer service.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.

Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel etc.

• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in a customer facing environment and working technical knowledge of the biotechnology industry including the basics of project management methodologies.

• Successful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas: written and verbal communications, interpersonal cross functional team based interaction, organizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, and problem solving.

Should also be intellectually curious and results oriented.

• Working Conditions:

• Works in an office and market environment. Traveling >70% in Delhi-NCR

Some walking and lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.

• Frequent travel may be required.
