Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Bioinformatics Application Specialist to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a strong background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field. The Bioinformatics Application Specialist will assist in the analysis and interpretation of biological data to support research and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of bioinformatics tools and applications for data analysis.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation using various bioinformatics software and databases.
• Collaborate with researchers and scientists to understand their bioinformatics needs and provide technical support.
• Maintain and update bioinformatics pipelines and workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Participate in the documentation of methodologies and results for research publications and reports.
• Stay current with emerging bioinformatics technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of bioinformatics tools, software, and databases (e.g., BLAST, GenBank, Bioconductor).
