BIM MEP Engineer (Scan to BIM)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM MEP Engineer (Scan to BIM). The BIM MEP Engineer will be responsible for utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) to convert reality capture data into accurate and detailed models. The engineer will work closely with the Field Engineering crews to capture above-ceiling and heavy Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) elements. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with the Architecture and Civil Engineering teams to ensure accurate representation in the digital twin models.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in BIM modeling, including converting laser scans to Revit models, managing construction drawings, conducting QA/QC reviews and computer-aided visualizations
• Experience working with Construction Drawings
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems
• Background in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• Experience with reality capture technologies
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
