At Wilson Composites India LLP, we are manufacturers of custom architectural fiberglass (FRP) and GFRC products for the commercial construction industry. We specialize in design, engineering, and fabrication.
Job Summary
We are looking for a BIM manager, to complete all deliverables related to shop drawings on the BIM platform, and manage all templates, standards, and content creation families to ensure a hassle-free process in the BIM environment.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 45 hours per week. Late evening hours are required occasionally to have an overlap with the U.S.-based team.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Developing and managing models of building structures using Revit. Well versed in conducting clash analysis to identify and solve issues between different systems.
- Create detailed architectural drawings and project plans using the Revit software.
- Generate construction documents like floor plans, elevations, and related details.
- Experience in commercial construction and product design, including understanding US building codes and integrating them into the drafting process.
- Creating initial sketch concepts and developing the designs through creating 3D models to visualize and communicate design ideas.
- Well versed in using point clouds to generate and manipulate 3D models in Revit and any additional software.
- Create internal BIM standards for projects to use and maintain libraries for Revit families to be used in Revit models.
- Selecting and implementing solutions to automate repetitive tasks with the use of readily available methods, plugins, etc.
- Develop design concepts by collaborating with relevant team members.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project requirements and relevant design issues.
- Review drafted documents to identify and rectify errors and follow strict adherence to project timelines and deadlines.
- Communicate and collaborate with project managers and team leaders to ensure the timely delivery of drawings and deliverables.
- Train and lead Revit engineers with efficient work allocation and timely completion.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Minimum.
- Proficiency in the application of Revit and being well-versed in the interoperability between various BIM software, namely AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Navisworks, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong understanding of American construction methods and building codes
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience in delivering training to technical and non-technical people.
Preferred (all the above, and)
- Bluebeam review of drawings
- Familiarity with design software and tools: Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Minimum Education
- Relevant degree in Architecture field.
- Certification of BIM competency
Work Experience: (8-10 years)
Salary: Rs. 15 lakhs to 20 lakhs per annum
