BIM Engineer

Company Description

IG & Associates, led by a licensed Structural Engineer in the State of Indiana, specializes in designing buildings and bridges in steel, reinforced concrete, post-tension concrete, timber and cold formed.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM Engineer at IG & Associates located in Bangalore Urban district. The BIM Engineer will be responsible for creating construction drawings, implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM), in for the structural elements of a project (beams, columns, walls, footings).

The candidate will also be responsible to draft 2 dimensional details in both steel and concrete in REVIT Structure and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Construction Drawings skills.
• Architecture collaboration skills.
• Civil Engineering background.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in BIM software consisting of REVIT and AutoCAD is necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 4 years of work experience in the above field is necessary.
