Job Position: BIM Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced BIM Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes and workflows, ensuring effective collaboration among project stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of BIM execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.
BIM Coordination and Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for various projects.
Coordinate BIM activities among project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
Modeling and Documentation:
- Create and manage 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
Generate detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules from BIM models.
- Ensure that all BIM deliverables meet the required standards and are delivered on time.
Clash Detection and Resolution:
- Conduct clash detection and coordination meetings, using software like Navisworks to identify and resolve conflicts.
Facilitate collaboration between disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure coordinated and clash-free models.
- Quality Control and Compliance:
Perform quality control checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and industry best practices.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BIM standards, guidelines, and best practices, ensuring all team members are compliant.
Training and Support:- Provide training and support to project teams and stakeholders on BIM tools, processes, and best practices.
Assist in troubleshooting BIM-related issues and provide technical support as needed.Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of BIM processes, workflows, and project progress.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for project managers and stakeholders on BIM-related activities and status.
Technology and Innovation:
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and industry trends.
Evaluate and recommend new BIM tools and technologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Education:- Bachelor's degree in- Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in BIM coordination or a related role in the engineering, or construction industry.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
* Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards, and best practices.
- Experience with clash detection and coordination using software like Navisworks.
