BIM Architect Engineer (Structural)

Title: BIM Architect /Engineer (Structural) For MALDIVES

Roles and Responsibilities

Support the Engineering team on one or more projects using expertise in Building Information Modelling.

The ability to work in a variety of construction environments including commercial, resort construction, industrial related projects.

Manage and Coordinate project deliveries/ delegated tasks with offshore engineering team.

Review and QA/QC project deliverables.

Learn and demonstrate proficiency in software related to BIM.

Learn and Demonstrate proficiency in construction trade knowledge (MEPF & Coordination).

Working with our clients during preconstruction phase to build the 3D models, 2D Shop Drawings, AsBuilt and Submittal drawings.

Be a champion in the advancement of BIM.

Must be willing to work as an Onsite BIM Engineer with engineering team.

Assist project team with construction coordination and scheduling.

Print drawing sets for team review.

Support Client to calculate quantities for material orders and crew work planning.

Prepare 3D models and dimension shop drawing sheets for field use and review.

Export DWF and others formats for Inter-Disciplinary Clash Detection.

Identify model constructability issues and propose solutions.

Create job layout driven by 3D model data.

Qualification

BS, MS or foreign equivalent in Construction Engineering and Management/Technology from reputed university.

Prefer with 5-7 years of experience in BIM detailing work from pre-construction through handoff phase of commercial construction.

Learning knowledge of AutoCAD MEP , Revit and Navisworks

Excellent collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to lead and train small teams.
