Billing Quality Analyst

Your Role

This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the organization s billing processes. This role involves reviewing billing data, identifying errors, and implementing quality assurance measures to improve overall billing accuracy. The analyst collaborates with billing coordinators, sales, and system support teams to resolve issues.

Roles and responsibilities

• Data Assessment, Analysis & Reporting




• Reviews cases in queue and assists to prioritize tasks effectively.


• Regularly reviews and analyzes billing data to identify discrepancies and trends.


• Maintains detailed records of findings and updates needed to billing procedures.


• Reviews reports on billing accuracy and metrics.

• Process Improvement




• Reviews billing processes align with customer invoicing, ensuring compliance with policies and implementing necessary quality control measures.


• Contributing to the creation or revision of billing policies and procedures.


• Identifies and recommends opportunities to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.


• Assist in training billing staff on best practices.

• Communication




• Work with Sales and Elite Finance as necessary, to understand contract details and ensure invoices are issued correctly.


• Collaborates with Sales and others as needed to promptly address and resolve billing issues.

• Performs other duties as requested




• Participating in initiatives aimed at improving billing systems or processes.


• Serve as back up to create accurate and timely invoices in Zuora Billing in accordance with the signed commitment to pay and billing procedures.

Must-Haves

• Education: Degree in a Finance or Accounting related field preferred


• Experience: 1-2 years experience in billing, finance or related field preferred


• Credentials or Certifications: N/A
