Position: Billing Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor
Location- Odisha
Salary- 25k to 30k (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans for construction projects.- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate budget forecasts.
Update and maintain cost databases and benchmarks.
- Tendering and Procurement:
Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and other necessary documentation for procurement.- Evaluate and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Assist in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms for the company.
Prepare and submit interim and final bills to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.- Manage invoicing processes, track payments, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Verify and certify bills received from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Cost Control and Financial Reporting:
Monitor and control project costs to ensure they remain within budget.- Track variations and change orders, updating project budgets as necessary.
Provide regular financial reports and updates to management and stakeholders.
Identify potential financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.- Advise on contractual claims and manage dispute resolutions.
Project Coordination and Documentation:- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely exchange of information.
Maintain comprehensive records of all project-related documents, including contracts, invoices, and financial statements.- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
