Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or relevant work experience
- 3-4 years of Experience in Production Operations / Support area
- Should have worked on supporting BigData-related Ops/ Support preferably with Hadoop Map-Reduce background
- Should be technically hands-on and be able to troubleshoot issues independently
- The role requires working in shifts on a monthly rotation basis
- Should have excellent Communication Skills and be able to interact with stakeholders in different regions of the world
- Willingness to work in 24/5 shifts.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex Production issues
- Own, debug, and document complex investigations and resolution
- Propose and lead process improvement projects
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of architecture and data models to prevent or resolve issues
- Perform root-cause analysis & come up with preventive actions
- Share knowledge within the team through mentorships, coaching, technical talks and blogs
