The Biomedical Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales of advanced biomedical equipment and solutions to healthcare facilities. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to deliver high-quality medical technology that meets the needs of hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers. The Biomedical Sales Engineer will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for biomedical equipment.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, and healthcare networks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, biomedical engineers, procurement officers, and hospital administrators.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to highlight the features and benefits of biomedical equipment.
Prepare and deliver detailed sales proposals, technical specifications, and contracts.
Provide technical guidance to clients during the sales process, ensuring that equipment meets their specific clinical and operational needs.
Assist customers with the selection, configuration, and integration of biomedical equipment into their existing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment installation, operation, and maintenance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in biomedical technology and industry trends.
Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Offer post-sales support, including equipment calibration, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs.
Gather customer feedback to inform product development and improve customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and related field.
Proven experience in a sales engineering role, preferably within the biomedical or medical devices industry.
Strong technical knowledge of biomedical equipment, including diagnostics, imaging, monitoring, and therapeutic devices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as required.
