Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Electrical Bid team in providing technical solution. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.The work model for the role is: This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, Chennai or Faridabad, IndiaYou will be mainly accountable for:
- Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.
- Participate in Bidding strategy, cost optimization, technical Solution innovation, support project handover.
- Performing Bid, Pre-Bid activities for Electrification of Green field and Brownfield Energy Industries customer
- Driving Projects with Project Management aspects and Risk Management Review.
- Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
- Driving the E-House Pre-Bid Engineering solutions to arrive at optimum E-House Layouts, and HVAC, HV, MV, LV, UPS, F&G, HVAC, Drive systems for E House application.
Qualifications For The Role
- BE or B. Tech Degree ideally focused on Electrical / Electronics /Control
- Experience of bidding international projects.
- Knowledge of Project Management Aspects Electrical Bid
- 6 to 8 years of experience in bidding and project management
- Good knowledge of Electrical Products (Switchgear, Transformer, VFD, Control & Protection equipment Power Quality equipment, IS Limiter, DC/UPS etc)
- Previous engineering experience for Electrical System, Electrical distribution network.
