Role - Bid Centre Manager
Role Purpose:
Provide sound commercial support to the Bid Management Process. This involves preparation and development of commercial bids, process compliance & contractual adherence
The Successful Applicant
An ideal candidate with -
Accounting Degree. CMA / ICWA preferred
Experience with contract terms and conditions including negotiations.
Sound technical and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Macros
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Good written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Positive can-do attitude, who can work autonomously in a team environment
Vibrant personality who will be able to work easily with their peers
Minimum 7-8 years post qualification experience within commercial accounting environment
Key Accountabilities in the role -
Accurate and timely Bid Model completion.
Ensuring all aspects of the RFP/RFT are costed.
Preparing group approval requirements.
First time right bid input management
Reporting
MAP Reporting for New Business Wins & Pipeline
Review of project actual financial performance against contract
Ensure all information is up to date through the Bid and Retention process
Reporting to relevant stakeholders of information held
Bid process compliance reporting
Interaction with internal stakeholders like sales team and Business Leaders to ensure Commercial benefits.
Using analytics to create action plans that are based off data and statistics, and interpreting results against the targets.
Assisting Internal and External Stakeholders. Including but not limited to:
Supporting Approvals process (Internal & Group)
Facilitate Proposal Management, Plan completion, distributed and timelines met
Daily liaison with Sales/Ops Team to ensure accurate and efficient supply of contractual information
Accurate & Timely Production of Bid Model:
Bid Model preparation.
Obtain and update Bid Model Assumptions on a regular basis
Offer solutions to enhance project performance
General Guidelines
A positive ambassador for company reward & recognition programs
Model high standards of performance and behavior
Develop a positive industrial relations climate
Skills & Experience
Desirable
Experience in financial model and commercial review desired not mandatory
Experience in food service Operations is desirable though not mandatory
