About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Beverage Director / Corporate Beverage Head to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the beverage industry, strong networking skills with bartenders, and in-depth knowledge of the liquor market, brand positioning, and bar menu design and positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement beverage strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the beverage program, including product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
- Brand Positioning:
- Position and promote various liquor brands effectively within the market.
- Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to optimize product offerings.
- Menu Design and Development:
- Design and curate innovative bar menus that enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with bartenders to create unique and appealing beverage offerings.
- Networking and Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bartenders, suppliers, and industry professionals.
- Attend industry events and engage in networking activities to stay updated on market trends.
- Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for bar staff on new products, techniques, and service standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the beverage team.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the beverage budget and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Analyze financial performance and make data-driven decisions to enhance profitability.
Requirements:
- 8-18 years of experience in the beverage industry, with a focus on liquor market and brand positioning.
- Strong networking skills with bartenders and industry professionals.
- Proven track record of designing and positioning successful bar menus.
- Excellent knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Educational Qualifications:
- A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
