Job Title: Child Psychologist
Job Summary:
We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Psychologist to join our esteemed team of mental health professionals. As a Child Psychologist, your pivotal role will involve providing expert therapeutic support and implementing psychological interventions for children and adolescents grappling with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate children's emotional, behavioral, and cognitive development.
- Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and continuous evaluation of the child's progress.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, family therapy, and other age-appropriate modalities.
- Collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, teachers, and other professionals to establish a supportive environment for the child's development and growth.
- Provide counseling and support to parents and caregivers, facilitating understanding and addressing their child's emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Conduct group therapy sessions for children, enhancing their social and emotional skills while providing a secure space for sharing experiences.
- Monitor and meticulously document treatment progress, maintain detailed case notes, and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and advancements in child psychology, implementing best practices in treatment strategies.
- Participate actively in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and collaboratively develop treatment approaches.
- Ensure strict compliance with ethical and legal guidelines, maintaining confidentiality, and respecting the rights of the child and family.
Requirements:
- Hold a Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology with a specialized focus on child and adolescent psychology.
- Possess a valid state license to practice as a psychologist or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice.
- Demonstrate proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and delivering therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents.
- Exhibit knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices for addressing children's mental health issues.
- Display strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Showcase empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in understanding and supporting children's emotional well-being.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly in a team-based environment and contribute significantly to the organization's growth and success.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for accurate documentation and case management.

Probationary Period and Contract Details:
- A 3-month probationary period with the potential for an extended contract of 2 years.
