Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities and building client relationships. They are responsible for driving company growth through strategic sales initiatives, market research, and fostering strong partnerships. This position is vital in expanding the organization's market presence and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to attract new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Conducting market research to identify potential opportunities and evaluate market trends
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling sales pitches and materials
  • Managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals
  • Setting and achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • Negotiating contract terms and pricing agreements with clients
  • Attending industry events and conferences to network and expand the business's presence
  • Monitoring and reporting on sales performance and market trends
  • Identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities
  • Providing input to product development based on market feedback and client needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales

  • Experience in B2B sales and relationship management

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
