We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (IT & Govt. Sales) to join our team in Bhopal. The
ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in IT sales with a strong focus on government sector sales. The
role involves developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, expanding our customer base, and managing the
tender process.
Job Description:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets in the government sector.
Expand the customer base by identifying and securing new government clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with government departments.
Understand the tender process in government departments and participate in bidding and tender submissions.
Generate leads within the government sector and convert them into sales.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the government sector.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions to clients.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales, particularly in government sales.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding customer base.
Strong understanding of the government departments and IT tender process.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
