Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) with 1-2 years of experience in business development, particularly on platforms like Upwork and other freelance sourcing portals within the IT industry. As a BDE, you will be instrumental in expanding our client base, nurturing client relationships, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including Upwork, Freelancer, and other freelance sourcing portals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and proposing suitable IT solutions.
- Generate leads, prospect, and qualify potential clients to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective strategies for lead generation and client acquisition.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, performance, and achievements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role in the IT industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Upwork and other freelance sourcing portals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships with clients.
- Solid negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
