Overview

The Business Development Executive (Edtech) plays a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of the organization's presence in the educational technology sector. They are responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential business opportunities in the edtech sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials
  • Negotiate and close deals with potential clients
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Attend industry events and conferences to promote the organization
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts
  • Coordinate with the product development team to align offerings with client needs
  • Provide feedback to the management team to enhance product offerings
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Executive, preferably in the edtech sector
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and business growth
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of the edtech industry and market trends
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales management tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
  • Strategic and critical thinking abilities
  • Result-oriented and self-motivated
