Job Purpose (1-2 Lines)
The candidate will be a part of translational medicine and perform routine mass analysis of mAbs and antigens using mass spectrometry.
Key Responsibilities: Must have technical skills
- Experience in mass spectrometry, focusing on the analysis of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and antigens
- Proficiency in protein purification techniques, specifically using AKTA Pure and AKTA systems for affinity, ion-exchange, and size-exclusion chromatography.
- Proficiency in protein identification using database searches (e.g., UniProt) with a foundational knowledge of bioinformatics applications to support mass spectrometry-based protein characterization.
- Accountability for conducting precise and reproducible experiments, ensuring high-quality data and troubleshooting as needed.
- Strong documentation skills, with experience in detailed lab notebook maintenance and thorough data recording to support data management and integrity.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc/ M.Tech/ M.Pharm or similar qualifications in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Cell Biology/ Biomedical Sciences/ Life Sciences

Desirable Technical Skills
- Expertise in peptide mapping, deglycosylation, and post-translational modification (PTM) analysis.
- Relevant experience in the biotechnology industry.
- Hands-on experience in protein expression within mammalian cell lines, including HEK, CHO, and Sf9.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience
