Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista-Trainee to join our team at Kruti Retail Ventures LLP. As a Barista-Trainee, you will receive on-the-job training to develop your skills and knowledge in preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for coffee and a desire to start a career in the food and beverage industry. The position is based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India and is a full-time role.
Qualifications And Skills
- A graduate with approachable communication, pleasing personality and interest to learn and work or a degree/diploma in Hotel Management/ hospitality services
- Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality coffee
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Roles And Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages according to company standards
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee preparation area
- Assist with stock management and inventory control
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, answering questions about coffee and our products
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding food safety and hygiene
