Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Barista to join our team at multiple locations including Cochin, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kottayam, and Ernakulam. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role. The candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications And Skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills (Mandatory skill) to provide a welcoming and outstanding experience for all patrons.
- Experienced in espresso preparation (Mandatory skill), ensuring every espresso shot is consistent and tailored to specific customer preferences.
- Proficient in milk steaming techniques, creating the perfect texture and temperature for lattes and cappuccinos.
- Adept at following drink recipes, ensuring consistent product quality and presentation.
- Capable of handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining an error-free cash register.
- Skilled in preparing and serving food, guaranteeing adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
- Experienced in training new baristas, fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Competence in making and serving various specialty beverages apart from the regular coffee and tea offerings.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks while ensuring adherence to recipe and presentation standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with patrons and addressing their needs and preferences promptly.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Efficiently manage cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and accountability in all financial dealings.
- Train and support new barista employees, sharing expertise and guidance to maintain service consistency.
- Monitor inventory levels, alerting management when supplies run low or require replenishment.
- Craft and introduce new drink recipes to expand the beverage menu, emphasizing creativity and quality.
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed, ensuring the coffee shop operates smoothly during all shifts.
