Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve coffee drinks, such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, and drip coffee, to customers specifications.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, equipment, and surrounding areas.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of coffee, tea, and other menu items to make recommendations and answer customer questions.

  • Operate a cash register, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accuracy with orders and payments.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

  • Work efficiently during peak periods, managing multiple orders and prioritizing tasks to minimize wait times.

  • Maintain inventory of supplies, such as coffee beans, syrups, and milk, and notify management when items need to be restocked.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive work environment.

  • Participate in ongoing training and education to improve knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with new products and techniques.

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to food safety standards and reporting any hazards or concerns.

    Requirements:



    - Previous experience as a Barista or in a related customer service role

    - Knowledge of coffee preparation methods and ingredients

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks

    - Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds

    - Availability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends

    Nice to Have:



    - Certification in coffee preparation or a related field

    - Experience with cafe management software and point-of-sale systems

    - Creativity and flair for latte art and drink presentation
