Overview
The position of BAMS RMO (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery Resident Medical Officer) with a focus on emergency experience is a critical role within our healthcare facility located in Gharuan, Punjab. This role is essential for ensuring that patients receive timely and effective emergency care. As a BAMS RMO, you will be responsible for evaluating patients in emergency situations, implementing appropriate treatment protocols, and coordinating with multiple healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments in emergency settings.
- Administer emergency treatments as per protocols.
- Monitor and document patient conditions consistently.
- Collaborate with emergency nursing and medical teams.
- Lead triage processes for incoming emergency cases.
- Provide guidance and training to junior medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and procedures.
- Participate in emergency drills and training exercises.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans.
- Manage and document patient care in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and alarms.
- Act as a liaison between various medical departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest emergency care practices and treatments.
- Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care for patients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree.
- Medical license to practice in Punjab.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in emergency medicine.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Experience in managing trauma cases is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
