Backend Java Engineer

Responsibilities:

The company is looking for an engineer with a passion for web services development with experience. This is a terrific opportunity for an engineer interested in enabling the next generation of services and technology for the company's next-generation B2B payments and ERP platform.

Your skills and experience should cover:

• 6+ years of Experience in Java

• Work experience with Spring Boot or Spring MVC is mandatory

• Strong knowledge / working experience with Oracle 11g or higher

• Experience with Hibernate or equivalent ORM is mandatory

• Experience with developing user interface using HTML and Javascript

• Proven experience of developing and maintaining new and existing web-based/data-driven web and standalone applications;

• REST APIs design and development best practices

• Experience with SCM systems like Git/SVN

• Experience in Agile software development and continuous Integration systems like Jenkins

The following areas are highly advantageous:

Experience with Docker

Experience deploying microservices to AWS or Google Cloud Platform
