As a Backend Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and maintaining the backend systems that drive our applications. We're looking for candidates with strong Python expertise and experience in AI-focused environments.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.
AI System Integration
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to incorporate machine learning models and AI functionality into our applications.
API Development
- Build and manage RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations.
Database Management
- Optimize and manage databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with diverse teams to deliver robust solutions that meet business objectives.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve backend performance issues and bugs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong emphasis on Python.
- Background working in AI startups or experience developing AI-driven applications.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Proficiency with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
